The Android player has some limitations. We are working hard to improve the Android player to match the Raspberry Pi player in all playback fields. You can see the limitations below for more details.
Player for Android comes with some limitations compared to the Player. Particularly, the following features won’t work:
There are currently some limitations. These are:
- Turning the TV On and Off remotely using CEC. The screen will turn black for Android devices instead of turning on or off.
- YouTube Live Streams.
