The ChromeOS player comes with some limitations compared to the Raspberry Pi Player. We are working hard to improve it in all playback fields. Please see the limitations below for more details.
There are currently some limitations. These are:
- You can turn the TV on and off remotely using CEC. However, the screen turns black for ChromeOS devices instead of turning them on or off.
- 4K Videos: Works, but it is downgraded to the 1080p version instead.
- Set Custom Boot logo.
- USB to HDMI Video Capture is not supported
